1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website and using our client portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable UK laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site or its associated portal.
2. Scope of Services
Safeguard Safety Solutions provides fire safety and health & safety consultancy services. Our reports, assessments (including fire risk assessments, asbestos surveys, and compartmentation inspections), and policies represent professional evaluations based on conditions observed at the time of site inspections. They do not constitute absolute guarantees against future hazards, accidents, or enforcement actions. Duty holders retain final legal responsibility for maintaining safety standards.
3. Client Portal Access
We grant client accounts access to our online portal. When using the portal, you agree:
- To maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- To notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.
- To only download or access files belonging to your company.
- To not upload any malicious files, scripts, or non-work-related materials.
4. Payment Terms & Invoicing
Payment terms for one-off consultancy services are due upon receipt or within 7 days, unless otherwise agreed. For retained clients, we provide standard 30-day invoice terms. All reports and certification documents remain the intellectual property of Safeguard Safety Solutions until full payment is received. We reserve the right to suspend portal download access for accounts with outstanding overdue invoices.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Safeguard Safety Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, business interruption, or property damage) arising out of the use or inability to use our services, portal, or consultancy reports, even if advised of the possibility of such damage.
6. Intellectual Property
The website structure, custom styles, portal interface, and content are the exclusive intellectual property of Safeguard Safety Solutions. You are granted a limited license to download and print safety reports and certificates for your own company's internal compliance records.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
